Реальная история с комментариями.

В июне 2004 года я опубликовал данные о своих электронных ящиках в сети. При этом я знал, что реакция интернет-сообщества может быть как минимум двойственной: от безразличной до заинтересованной. Среди прочего, я получил информацию особого рода.

Это были письма с поздравлениями. Я получил два письма на разные ящики. Да-да, именно те, инфу о которых я и оставил в сети. Оказывается, Я ВЫИГРАЛ В ИНТЕРНЕТ-ЛОТЕРЕЯХ! Тексты писем повторялись с некоторыми вариациями. В тексте поздравлений была вся "важная" информация о выигрышах - номера, коды, телефоны, номера телефаксов, почтовые и электронные адреса. Мог ли я не ответить? Конечно нет! Расчет организаторов оказался верным - я ответил...

Вы понимаете, о чем я подумал в первую очередь. Мошенники хотят вытянуть денег... Тогда я и решил поиграть с ними в игру. Решил проверить IP-адреса отправителей. Для этого воспользовался одним из сетевых сервисов.

Итак, адреса отправителей "не вязались" с географией лотерей.

... Быть может, ничего странного в этом и нет. Я, к примеру, в родном городе не имею электронного ящика. Однако вся моя переписка проходит сервер по месту физического нахождения. Это позволяет моим корреспондентам без особых усилий определить, откуда я...

Словом, я ответил на письма поздравителей.

На этот раз они прислали некую форму для заполнения в виде JPG-картинки. Форма сделана грубовато, была "тяжеловесной" (654 килобайта). Я заполнил ее используя графический редактор, "сжал" в несколько раз и отослал... В ответ - новое письмо.

Ну наконец-то! Они все-таки попросили денег! Причем, срочно... Понятно, что это письмо также пришло с нового адреса:

На этот раз они прислали некую Legal Consultation Form - JPG-файл весил уже около мегабайта и был еще более грубой поделкой. Картинка якобы подтверждала аккредитацию адвоката в неком голландском агентстве. Поверьте на слово - текст написан с ошибками (Fritz Collins в документе обозначен как Fritz Colins). Что-то, напоминающее штамп адвокатской конторы, разобрать невозможно - при увеличении он попросту "рассыпается" - не прочитать... Особенно выразительным был login почтового ящика: Rockfellersadvocaat@___.com

Ну, что тут можно сказать - не иначе эти люди представляют интересы рода Рокфеллеров...

Наконец, мне поднадоело играть. Хотелось лишь знать, насколько такие игры известны в сети. Лучшее, что я мог сделать в такой ситуации - обратиться к разумным и опытным людям. На мою скромную просьбу о помощи первым ответил Николай Виртуров. Думаю, это лишний раз подтверждает профессиональную подготовку и лучшие человеческие качества Вашего визави. Мне приятно открыто выразить благодарность Николаю за внимание к просьбам простых пользователей сети. Он-то и пояснил мне, что "Это разновидность "нигерийской схемы".
А еще такие вещи называют "социальным инженирингом" или "fishing letters" ("письма для ловли рыбки"). Нигерийское мошенничество хоть и очень старое, но до сих пор работает, как не странно. :)"

Мой комментарий. Это я Вам как врач-психиатр...

Для кого-то это прозвучит странно, но мошенничество в сети обусловлено разумными вещами. Действует точный психологический расчет: - в своей массе человечество
- желает жить лучше,
- не желает работать,
- искренне верит в чудо.
Это свойственно всем нам. Национальность и место проживания не имеют значения. Значение имеет лишь Ваша готовность принять правила игры. Но с одной поправкой: - игры не с Вами, а ПРОТИВ Вас.

Кое-что я могу добавить к словам Н. Виртурова. Думаю, что кто-то из Вас уже получал письма от неких "африканских" граждан с предложением помочь сохранить деньги их родителей. За несколько лет общения с сетью я получил их добрый десяток. Да, это те самые "нигерийские письма". Если Вам еще не знаком этот способ дурачить граждан - опубликуйте в сети Ваш реальный e-mail и будьте готовы к тому, что Вас заметят... Поверьте моему скромному опыту, но "продвинуть" свой сайт в сети гораздо сложнее, чем "попасть" на сетевых мошенников. Кроме "кидал" Вас непременно посетят спамеры и разного рода сетевая инфекция.
Посему активно вырабатывайте иммунитет и БУДЬТЕ ЗДОРОВЫ!
