Written by Sync-Master on May 5th, 2012

It seems that online, so called cloud, storage industry doesn’t experience difficulties, connected with the world economy crisis, because new services pop up regularly. Now meet the new one – MongoFiles, a user-friendly online storage and online backup service.

It allows to transfer, download and store data in an organized, secure and confidential manner. Mongofiles can be used to upload and share an unlimited number of files with friends, family and colleagues. It’s available to send large files up to 2 GB that are too big for email, store and backup online any type of data.
Home users typically use the service to upload, download and share their home videos, pictures (online photo storage) and other recreational files.
Professionals prefer Mongofiles for online backup and sharing files such as financial results, presentations, work related videos, MP3s vocal recordings and other productivity files.

Try Mongofiles - online storage and backup service

Unlike some other online file sharing services, Mongofiles allows to load/download any type of files that does not violate Terms of Use or legal laws. Files violating copyright laws or displaying porno are forbidden. No additional software managers required, no FTP clients – all is working through the web-site with customizable interface.

Also it supports resuming of  interrupted or suspended download (Home or Professional accounts only). But in some cases, depending on browser, it may be required to restart download.

Mongofiles promotes its offer as the Most bytes for your money on the market today. Is it true? I’m not sure.
Also they advice to use their service as a RapidShare alternative. MongoFiles has less restrictions and users can download files instantly, with shorter or no waiting time at all. And the cost of its subscription is really less vs RapidShare.

It’s interesting that money, you pay for backup service, are invested to trees planting. If you sign-up for Premium account, MongoFiles will plant a tree on your behalf every year as long as you are our customer. If your company signs up for a Business account they will plant at least 10 trees on behalf of your company every year as long as your company uses the service. The actual tree planting takes place twice a year and user will get notification when his/her tree is planted. Are you green? What about Carbon Footprint as your karma doing? :)
But don’t mix up Carbon with Carbonite – online backup service which software part works in the background and looks for changed files to backup them online.
